My Favorite Roasted Whole Chicken

Happy Monday everyone,

Usually, U would be the one providing the recipes but since she’s in Switzerland, I’ve decided to share one of my favorite recipes to make. This recipe doesn’t have exact measurements so you can add more or less of the ingredient.


Whole chicken (cleaned and gutted)

Course salt and pepper

Two whole lemons

Extra virgin olive

Step one: Clean the bird and gut out the insides (i.e heart, liver,and any other bits you do not want)

Step two: slather the olive oil onto the chicken and rub the course salt and pepper

Step three: roll the lemons (i like to microwave them too for extra juiciness). Then poke holes through the lemons so when you stuff them into the chicken, it’s juices go into the chicken.

Put it into a pre-heated oven of 350 degrees. I usually have it in there for 2 hours but it depends on the size of the chicken.
