Chinese New Year Eats: How about some dim sum

Hi all,

I’m gearing up for the Year of the Horse by figuring out where I’m going to eat dim sum. Dim Sum, or what I like to call “Chinese tapas”, are bite sized portions of heaven served in steamer baskets or small plates. Waiters come around with these baskets or plates while you choose from a variety of treats from dumplings to chicken feet. You pay by the plate at the end, however, it’s usually really cheap. If you want something that is cheaper and very good, I would recommend any of the dim sum restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley because of it’s large Chinese population. But if you live on the Westside, I’ve been to the Palace Restaurant, which I find delicious. It was inexpensive and my portion cost me about $10 for 4 small plates. Check it out here and we hope you have a great Chinese New Year!
